Meet Parkdale Dentist
DR. NIDHI RAMROOP
Influenced by friends and family in the dental profession, Dr Nidhi developed an interest in becoming a dentist. She’d always enjoyed health sciences and discovered a love of helping others through volunteer work during high school. Combined with a liking for the hands-on aspect of dentistry, she knew it would be the right field.

DR. PAUL Sylivris
Graduating in 1983 from Melbourne University, Dr Paul began practicing in Box Hill and Highett for 3 years, followed by opening a new surgery in Berwick. Being outer suburban, Berwick Village flourished, so he spent the next 35 years building up a lovely 3 man practice.

DR. ANKITA
Dr Ankita has over 10 years of general dental experience as both a dental nurse and dentist. I have personally had the pleasure of working closely with Dr Ankita before moving to Parkdale, where she worked with me as my dental assistant and built wonderful relationships with our patients. After completing a rigorous set of exams . . .

Julie
Dental Assistant
Julie has been a Dental Assistant for over 20 years and she still enjoys what she does. She has been an integral part of the Parkdale Family Dental team for over 10 years. Being able to help patients in all aspects of dentistry, and have them walk out of the surgery fully informed of their dental health, is what appeals the most to her about her job. She is also very happy to have a chat about gardening!
Sue
Dental Assistant
Sue qualified as a Dental Nurse at Kings College Dental Hospital, London and has since worked across a number of Dental Practices in both the UK and here in Australia. Sue’s dental experience was extended with 8 years spent as a Crown and Bridge Dental Technician in private practice. Sue loves building rapport with our patients, putting them at ease and delivering the best possible care. Sue is a local here in Parkdale and at weekends can often be found walking her dog along our beautiful beach or spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Carolyn
Front Desk Coordinator
Carolyn has worked at Parkdale Family Dental since 2007 and has enjoyed her journey over the years. Working on the front desk, Carolyn is often the first person that patients see, and the last as they leave, and it is important to her to know that patients’ needs have been met and they leave happy with great results!
Working in a caring environment with like minded colleagues is what motivates Carolyn to come in to work every day!
Carolyn loves to be challenged at work and has always enjoyed helping others.
Outside of work, Carolyn loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her beautiful grandchildren and pets! She also enjoys walking, music and dining out.
Monique
Front Desk Coordinator
Monique has been a part of Parkdale Family Dental since 2013 and has worked in all areas of the practice. You will now find her smiling face at reception, ready to help you with all your dental care 3 days a week.
Monique enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.
Outside the dental environment she enjoys walking her cavoodle on the beach and being mum to 3 teenagers.
Alyssa
There is so much that I enjoy about Dentistry:
It’s not only about the quality of the dental procedures but the 1 on 1 communication between patients and staff members that is sensational. The way teeth can change an individual’s life is breathtaking!
Welcoming results that leave individuals speechless, and emotional as they stare back at what was once believed as impossible; now shaped into the brightest and proudest smile!
Outside of Dentistry, I’ve always had an eye for going outside of my comfort zone, and confronting life’s challenges. I specialise in training for both weightlifting and boxing. I lift weights 6 times a week and take up classes for boxing, MMA and BJJ at least twice throughout the week and simply love the challenge!
