Dr Nidhi Ramroop
Developing an Interest in Oral Healthcare
Influenced by friends and family in the dental profession, Dr Nidhi developed an interest in becoming a dentist. She’d always enjoyed health sciences and discovered a love of helping others through volunteer work during high school. Combined with a liking for the hands-on aspect of dentistry, she knew it would be the right field.
A smile is often the first thing you notice about a person. It’s gratifying to see the instant results patients can get from procedures.
An Education in Dentistry
She attended the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2009. Then, she returned home to the Melbourne area and has been a family dentist since that time, treating patients of all ages. She stays up to date on the latest in dentistry and is a member of an invitation-only dental education group. Through this organisation, she participates in webinars and case discussions to learn from her knowledgeable colleagues. She is also an active member of many specialist dental organisations which enables her to stay up to date with the modern advances in dentistry.
Outside of the Practice
When she isn’t with patients, Dr Nidhi stays busy with her young daughter. They like to spend time with family and friends and travel, often taking day trips to explore new areas and try out different restaurants and cuisines.

Dr Paul Sylivris
Graduating in 1983 from Melbourne University, Dr Paul began practicing in Box Hill and Highett for 3 years, followed by opening a new surgery in Berwick. Being outer suburban, Berwick Village flourished, so he spent the next 35 years building up a lovely 3 man practice. It was there he developed a love for orthodontic and family practice. However after 35 years he needed a change and knowing Dr John Kovarik well, he embarked on the next stage of his career in another beautiful suburban village in Parkdale.
With seven children (aged from 21 years to 37 years), life outside of dentistry is always busy for Dr Paul! Only one remains at home so his time is now spent eating with good friends and travelling.
